Though Dazzy Vance didn’t come close to matching his real-life numbers in his 1924 starts replay, he did finish on a high note, with a 1-0 shutout win over the Boston Braves. He also set a house record for me for consecutive strikeouts in a game, with seven. I will make a final post, comparing the replay statistics to Vance’s actual statistics. I am working on another project so that will pause the Phenomenal Pitching Seasons project for a while.
