PEE WEE REESE HITS GAME WINNING HR IN BOTTOM OF ELEVENTH INNING

Brooklyn’s Pee Wee Reese hit a game winning home run off Huge Casey(0-3) in the bottom of the eleventh inning, as the Dodgers edged Pittsburgh, 4-3.

The Pirates trailed 3-1, when doubles by Kiner and Phil Masi, and errors by Reese and Olms, allowed the Bucs to tie the game in the top of the ninth.

Reese went from goat to hero, when his clout ended the game in extra innings.
