Well, the Mad Dogs and Clippers have each won a laugher, as they are even after two games in a four game series. Today, it was the Dogs turn, as they smashed four homeruns, including an Alex Rodriguez grand slam, in a 10-4 drubbing of the Clippers. Lou Gehrig did his part in defeat. Sultans 8 Hammers 4

The Sultans bounced back after dropping their last three games, with an 8-4 victory over the Hammers. Bob Veale lasted only one third of an inning, allowing five runs in the first. Dazzy Vance becomes the league’s first, fifteen game winner. Babe Ruth stretched his home run lead to 39. Willie Mays popped one for the losers. WP-Dazzy Vance(15-4). LP-Bob Veale(2-11).
