Today’s game saw a gem of a pitching performance from left hander, Vean Gregg, as he whitewashed the 1949 Chicago White Sox, 4-0, on a three hitter. Gregg fanned four and walked just one batter, in what was his best outing on the tour, thus far.
Orlando Cepeda hit his eleventh home run, but the only Phenom with more than one hit today, was Carlton Fisk, who had two singles. One run was plenty today, the way Gregg was pitching.
