It was a nice bounce back game for Bob Gibson, as he tossed a complete game, 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates, after losing to that very same team, his last time out. It was the eleventh time this year that Bob has gone the distance. Curt Flood’s solo home run in the top of the fifth inning proved to be the deciding run.
