Block #4 Recap:

Because the White Sox and Indians went 12 or more innings in Block 3, by rule, they had to start as many reserves as possible in their Block 4 games. Give them credit, for although they lost, both teams held their own against Boston and Milwaukee regulars.

A late, three-run homer by Earl Torgeson helped Detroit edge the Brooklyn Dodgers by one run.

It’s been a rough start for Cleveland, who sits at 0-4 after running through one full pitching rotation.

Milwaukee will have a scheduled spot start in the next block.
